I had my card-making with the Westminster Oaks ladies today. I created this card a couple of weeks ago and thought they would really enjoy making this Butterfly Thinking of You card. I got the idea from a really cute card that I saw on page 130 of the new 2014 -2015 Annual catalog. My original sample, as you can see, is a Thinking of you. Several of the ladies made “Birthday Wishes” cards.
You may have noticed that I have not posted anything to my blog the past couple of weeks. It has been a difficult couple of weeks because I lost my husband Kenneth William Martin on Sunday, May 18, 2014. When I demonstrated how to make this card today I was thinking about him and created a “Thanks So Much” card.
That is one of the things I noticed and loved about stamping when I first began is that stamping and paper crafting can be very therapeutic. I know that continuing stamping will help me get through this difficult time.
If you would like to learn how to created a card like this or of you would like to receive a copy of the new catalog, email me.
