Sorry for the delay in posting today. I had trouble with how I was going to start my post. It is an emotional day, how does one cope with grief. Today marks the one year anniversary of my Uncle Gordon's passing. And I also can't help be think about my Uncle George who passed earlier this year. These were two great men, and taking a quote from my cousin John in an email that he sent, "Those brothers both lived rich lives of experiences most only dream about, but in the end it all comes down to the enduring love that these men had for and from those closest to them." It is that love that has been instilled in us, our family, which helps in the healing process of our loss. Gordon may have just been "my Uncle" but he was a fascinating man. That may be a blessing for him, that today is just another day. To all my family I send my love and good thoughts, and to Gordon's sons and their families I send extra big hugs. Through the grief, today is a day to celebrate this wonderful man, the incredible life he had, and the abundance of love he share. Uncle Gordon, you are truly missed and we love you much!
