It is time again for our Saturday Diva Sketch Challenge. These challenges make it so easy to create cards without having to do a lot of thinking. This week is Sketch Challenge 212. To see what the other Divas did this week visit the UDI Blog. I would love to hear from you on what you think about my creation, so please leave a comment below. I would also love to share your creation, so come play along with us on our weekly challenges.
This week I made a Merry Christmas card. This is what you will need to create your own Merry Christmas card like this. After looking at this card, I have decided that I am going to make one change, I am going to add a little glitter to the holly berries.
Stamp Sets: Watercolor Winter, Greetings of the Season
Card Stock: Naturals White, Old Olive, Raspberry Ripple
Ink: Raspberry Ripple Classic Stamping Pad
Accessories: Old Olive and Raspberry Ripple Stampin' Write Markers, 3/8" Raspberry Ripple Satin Stitched Ribbon, Paper Snips, SNAIL Adhesive, Dazzling Details Cherry Cobbler
I stared with my base card of Naturals White and added a layer of Old Olive. I cut 7 pieces of the 3'8" Raspberry Ribble Satin Stitched Ribbon and off set them on my Old Olive card stock. I added a layer of Raspberry Ripple card stock and another layer of Old Olive over the ribbons. I used the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker to color the leaves of the holly stamp from th Watercolor Winter stamp set, and colored the holly berries using the Raspberry Ripple Stampin' Write Marker, and stamped the image on the corner of another piece of Naturals White card stock. Using the Raspberry Ripple Classic Stampin' Pad I stamped Merry Christmas, and added this as my top layer. Then to add a little glitter to the card, I used the Dazzling Details Cherry Cobble to the holly berries.
