Here is the sketch for this week's Diva Sketch Challenge 216. For this challenge I created a Happy Birthday card, but I am thinking about making a Christmas card using this sketch too. If you have not tried it, these sketch challenges really do take a lot of the hard work out of creating cards.
Notice that I turned the sketch a quarter turn to the left to create my card. For this card I used Create A Cupcake, Mixed Bunch, and Lovely Letters Alphabet stamp sets. My base card is Crumb Cake card stock. Next is a layer
of Raspberry Ripple and that is topped with Perfect Plum. I added a strip of Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Satin Stitched ribbon across the Perfect Plum card stock. My image is stamped with Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad on Whisper White card stock, and used the Blossom punch to get my flower. To add some sparkle to the card I placed a Rhineston from the Jewels Basic to the center of the flow. I also added some Dazzling Details to specific areas of the flower which you can see in the next close up photo. Can you see the sparkle around the "H" in Happy Birthday? I used a little of the Champagne Mist All-Purpose Ink. I used Stampin' Dimensionals on the flower to add a little dimension to the card. This card will be off to one of my December Birthday family members.
