Here is the sketch that was created for Diva Sketch Challenge 217. I created a Happy Birthday card for this sketch. This card could be used for anyone, but I was thinking more along the lines of a masculine card. What do you think?…leave a comment below.
The stamps sets used for this card are Lovely As a Tree and Create a Cupcake. I used Naturals White card stock for my base card. The other card stock used are Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy, Garden Green, and Watercolor paper. The inks that I used are Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pads and I also used Jet Black Staz On pad. I use both Blender Pens and Aqua Painter. With the combination of both, I got the desired look that I was trying to achive.
I used three different techniques on this card. Of course the main one that you can see is watercolor, and with that the windowpane or grid technique. The leaf is stamped using the rock-n-roll technique.
Thanks for stopping by Jill's Stamping Corner (JSC), and be inspired, be creative, and share.
