It is a Happy Wedding Day in our family today. My cousin Michael is getting married to his beautiful fiancee Summer. The are having a Las Vegas wedding!…wish I could be there to help celebrate, but I wish them a very happy day today! Their wedding invitation is black, white, and a hot pink color. So I had a lot of fun making a card for them using these colors. Here is a picture of the card I made.
The stamps that I used for this card are Forever from Loving Thoughs, the flower stamp from Messages from Mom (retired), Happy Wedding Day from All-Year Cheer III (retired), and May the God of love be the heart of your marriage, the light of your home, and the ever-present partner in your new lift together (which is stamped on the inside of the card) from God's Blessings. The card stock that I chose for their card are Whisper White, Basic Black, and Melon Mambo. And I used Melon Mambo.
I pulled out my Big Shot for this card. I first used the Eyelet Texturz Backgrounds #1 (retired) on the base card to have an embossed background. I stamped Happy Wedding day and the flowers with VersaMark and then embossed them with black embossing powder. I colored in the flowers using the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker. I layered it on Melon Mambo card stock and then on Basic Black.
I punched a Full Heart from Whisper White card stock and stamped "Forever" using Melon Mambo. I used the Paper-Piercing Pack Essentials and pierced a heart on the whisper white heart and then pierced a heart on the Melon Mambo to border the whisper white and used stampin' dimensionals on the heart to add a little height. I layed the Melon Mambo on Basic Black.
I embossed the flowers on the flap to the envelope and also colored in the flowers like I did on the card with teh Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker. I hope they like the cards, I think they will.
