Grieving over the loss of a friend or family member, even if that family member is a pet is a process. And unfortunately there is no quick and easy fix. Today is the day that I pick up Ginger’s ashes. I know that time will ease the hurt, but how am I dealing with grieving over the loss of our Ginger? One way is posting to my blog. Another way is thinking about how I want to keep all the memories of her.
You may already know, last week Stampin’ Up! announced a new partnership with Becky Higgins, creator/developer of “Project Life” which Becky develop a simply way to get back into scrapbooking without spending a lot of time and energy creating traditional scrapbook pages. I am really excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to receive and get started on creating a Ginger “Project Life” scrapbook. What do you think about this new partnership…LIKE IT or DON”T LIKE IT? Leave a comment.
As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, yesterday we were able to order our first Stampin’ Up! Project Life products. These products will be available on May 1, 2014 to the public. I am sure there will be some great products coming out in the new 2014-2015 Annual Catalog but we will have to wait to see them. I usually do not, not purchase from myself, but I will checking out Becky Higgins and “Project Life” the other day and saw that Becky has a cute Dog Themed Cards that I am pretty sure that I will have to purchase. These cards, in addition to ones that I will create with be a great way to create my Memories of Ginger scrapbook. Though I anticipate there will be some difficulty (because of grieving) creating this scrapbook, what a better way to preserve our memories of Ginger’s life with us.
So in the coming weeks, I will be sharing what I have created using the “Project Life” scrapbooking and how quickly and easily this can be done. To show you, I will not only being sharing the actual pages I create, but I will be sharing some videos showing how easy it is to create with Stampin’ Up! and Becky Higgins “Project Life”.
