MIX IT UP MONDAY ~ In the Beginning

I was thinking, and thinking, and thinking about what I could post today and was having a hard time coming up with this post, until I placed my water glass down on my coaster.  DUH!  Heeheehee, you will get a kick out of this.  I made this coaster ever before I became a demonstrator.  It has held up pretty good considering that it was never sealed.  I will have to make a new one to show that there has been a little improvement in what I do.  On the back of the tile I put cork board to protect what I placed the coaster on.  Well, here it is…one of my first stamping projects. Don't laugh too hard. LOL

I also found a project that I did at the first stamp camp that I attended.  By the way, I had no interest in stamping at this time…I was helping a friend (my former upline) and little did I know that I would be bit by the stamping bug BIG TIME!  This project too was not sealed, but also is holding up.  Trivit

Something like this is a nice gift idea for those hard to buy for people.

Thanks for stopping at the Corner.

Jill these are fantastic! Isn’t it fun to look back to where we began and see how we’ve improved, or even changed our styles? Thanks for playing along!!

  2. I will have to look to see what other oldies but goodies that I have.
It was fun stamping on tile. I made a set for my parents for Christmas a couple of years ago with a couple of coffee cups and a tray. It was a fun project to work on.

  3. Love your oldies but goodies!
I love stamping on tiles. I have only done the small 2X2 tiles, though.
