Did you know that something as little as a pop tab can do so much?
Through this post I am challenging all my stamping friends and all my fellow demonstrators to POP THEIR TAB!
Many of you may already know that each year Stampin' Up! selects a stamp set that is considered the Ronald McDonald House set, and SU! donates money to the RMHC from the sale of the set.
What some (or maybe many) of you might not know, there are many things that you can do to help the RMHC. Click on RMHC to find out more on how you can help and to locate a house that is near you.
Okay, let's POP OUR TABS! Many of the Ronald McDonald Houses collect the little tab off of aluminum cans, and work with a local recycling center to turn the tabs into money. Click here for more information on this program.
So my challenge to all of you is, not only to start saving tabs and contact your local RMHC, but also to share this post with everyone you know (demonstrators, customers, teacher, friends, family, etc). Let me know if you already do this or if you are going to start doing this, just post in the comment section below.
I also have an additional challenge to all my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. My challenge to you is to sign up to be involved with your local RMHC through SU!. I personally know that there are houses that are waiting to become "active" and all they need is a lead. If you don't know where to look, after you have logged on to SU! at your welcome page, click on "Making a Difference" or you can call DS. If any demonstrators in the Tallahassee, FL area (including Southwest GA-Bainbridge, Thomasville, areas) are interested in participating in the RMHC program you may contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope you will come join me.
