If you saw yesterday’s post, you were already kind of introduced to the Big Shot, however, I wanted to tell you a little more about this fun tool. Stampin’ Up! teamed up with Sizzix and has made exclusive dies which coordinate with Stampin’ Up! stamp sets and products. The Big Shot, which is manually operated, is designed to die cut materials for use on crafts, home décor projects, and clothing. The Sizzix Big Shot is a 6-time winner for the best die cutting equipment and dies through the Creating Keepsakes Reader’s Choice Award.
The Big Shot make incorporating paper crafting into different hobbies and easy as pie. You can use all competitive dies with the Big Shot. Do you want to be impressed?…check out the list of 50 different materials that can be used with the Big Shot.
If you would like to see a video of how the Big Shot works, click here. If you would like to see some project that can be made using the Big Shot, click here. There are different types of dies that are used with the Big Shot.
- Originals, Bigz, and Bigz, XL dies. These dies will cut through virtually any materials (check the 50 different materials above to see the list) and can cut multiple sheets of card stock and Designer Series Paper.
- Sizzlits dies. These are smaller and more detailed dies which can create scored and perforated details of the die. These dies are used to cut through think materials, so multiple sheet cutting is NOT recommended when using Sizzlits.

I will post a couple of project a little later that were made using the Big Shot.
