UDI Color Challenge 102 – Merry Christmas Card

It is UDI Color Challenge Day! I love the color image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comcombinations that Elizabeth has been coming up with for us to use.  Here are this weeks colors.  I have to admit that it has been a little bit of a "challenge" some times, but it has been very fun working with the colors to create these cards.  But that is what the Color Challenge is all about…right?!  Would you like to play along?…create your own stamped projects using these colors and I will post your creation, email me at sujill@jillstangelostamps.com to let me know that you would like to play along.

Again, I am in Christmas Card mode.  For this card I used Delightful Decorations stamp set. My base card is Whisper White.  I first stamped my four ornaments on each corner (starting on upper-image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comleft) of the card using Calypso Coral, Pool Party, So Saffron, and Gumball Green.  My next step was to stamp the spotted circles on the base card around the stamped ornaments but to stamp it so the colors would not touch themselves. I punched a Gumball Green 2-1/2" circle and placed it in the center of the card. Then I punched a Whisper White ornament and stamped the spotted circle on the ornament. I used Stampin' Dimentionals on the ornament and placed it on the Gumball Green circle. Using the 1" circle I punched a Pool Party circle and used a Stampin' Dimentionals to adhere it to the center of the ornament. I used Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' ink to stamp Merry Christmas on Whisper White and punched it using the 3/4" circle punch, and again used a Stampin' Dimentionals to adhere it to the Pool Party circle.  I then stamped the same colors on the coordinating card stock and punch out using the ornament punch. I used Stampin' Dimentionals on each ornament and placed them over the ornaments that were stamped in each corner.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks color challenge.  If you would like to see what the other team members have created, click here.
