UDI Color Challenge 112 Jolly Christmas Card

image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comI hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you did not eat too much. Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that I tend to eat WAY too much, but I did pretty good this year.

It is time for UDI Color Challenge 112.  This week Elizabeth picked More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, Old Olive, and Soft Suede for our colors.

I created a fun card Christmas card that would be great for kids.  Not sure where this card will end up…Michigan, Texas, Tennessee…you never know.

image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comI cheated a little on this card, I also used Whisper White.  The stamp set that I used is No Peeking.  My base card is Pool Party card stock.  The snowman, raindeer, penguin, and tree are cut out from Whisper White card stock.  All except the tree were stamped using Soft Suede.  Of course my tree is stamped with Old Olive.  The snowman's hat, mittens, booties, and scarf are stamped using More Mustard.  The raindeer's scarf is Cherry Cobbler, and the Penguin's hat and scarf are Pool Party.  To add each of their accessories (hat, scarf, etc) I used the Tombo Mono Multi liquid glue. On the raindeer, snowman, and penguin I added Dazzling Details on their white areas.  On the tree I added a little Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details for the balls, and Dazzling Details for the sting.  Oh, and to all a little more sparkle to the card, I also added a little Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to the wreath.
