UDI Inspiration Challenge #149

As promised, this is the re-start to the UDI Inspiration Challenge, we are picking up where we left off
image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comon Inspiration Challenge #149.  This is the photo that I picked out this week.

Next Tuesday is Patriot Day in remembrance to the 911 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon at Arlington, VA, and United Airlines Flight 93 that was in route to the Washington, DC but went down in Shanksville, PA.  Not only did this attack change the United States, but it also changed the world.  I read that people from NINTY (yes, that is 90) different countries were killed. I don't think that there is a day that goes by that I don't think about the attacks or how the attacks has changed my life.

This photo is so moving, need I say more? So this is the photo that I picked out for this week, and I hope it will inspire you to create.

This is my inspiration creation.

image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comI used the retired Fire Brugade stamp set (please see my side note below) and used "Forever & Always" from the Loving Thoughts stamps set. My base card is Whisper White card stock which I stamped the helmets using Midnight Muse Classic Stampin' Pad.   Using Raspberry Ripple Classic Stampin' Pad I stamped the fire truck on Whisper White and layered it on Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple card stock.  "Forever & Always" is stamped in Raspberry Ribble on Whisper White card stock layered on Midnight Muse.  My plan is to find a fire station in New York to send it to… just my
way of saying, "those lost on that horrible day will forever be
remembers and never forgotten."

Just a little side note here, normally for these challenges I will only be using current Stampin' Up! products, but this one… I could not have created any other way.

I hope that you have enjoyed this weeks inspiration challenge, and hope you come back next Thursday to see next weeks challenge.  To see what my Inspiration Challenge Team created click here.
