Did you know that today is World Card Making day? This is just a day that is dedicated to making cards and there are stampers all over the world taking advantage of today for creating and making cards. So I challenge you to make a card today and to play along with this week's Sketch Challenge.
Are you going to accept this challenge? Come play along and I will feature your creation at Jill's Stamping Corner. Use Sketch Challenge in the subject and email me at email@example.com.
The stamp sets used are Mixed Bunch and Day of Gratitude. The base card is Raspberry Ripple card stock, and I used Crumb Cake, and Perfect Plum card stock for my layering. The ink used is Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake, adn Perfect Plum Classic Stampin' Pads. I added a little Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. For the lable I used the Decorative Label punch and used the Scallop Edge Border punch. I added a little sparkle to the card by using Dazzling Details. I placed a little dot in the center of the three circle flowers around the Thank You. I also placed some dots on the big flower on the base card.
You might notice that I used the same stamp sets for this second card, but I changed the colors and the stamp used. I started my base card using Naturals White card stock, and as my layers I used Midnight Muse and Bashful Blue. I also used the Decorative Label punch again, but also
added the Large Oval punch. I changed from the Scallop Edge Border to teh Scallop Trim Border. I also added the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, but used Midnight Muse for this card. I also added a little sparkel on this card using Dazzling Details on the big flower in the upper right-hand corner.
Come play along for World Card Making Day!
