Today is UDI Sketch Challenge 209.  When I first saw this sketch, I was originally thinking about making a Christmas card, however I really needed to make a couple of "Thank image from www.jillsstampingcorner.comYou" cards.

Let us look at the first card that I created for this challenge.

The stamp sets used are Mixed Bunch and Day of Gratitude. The base card is Raspberry Ripple card stock, and I used Crumb Cake, and Perfect Plum card stock for my layering.  The ink used is Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake, adn Perfect Plum Classic Stampin' Pads.  I added a little Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. For the lable I used the Decorative Label punch and used the Scallop Edge Border punch. I added a little sparkle to the card by using Dazzling Details. I placed a little dot in the center of the three circle flowers around the Thank You. I also placed some dots on the big flower on the base card.

You might notice that I used the same stamp sets for this second card, but I changed the colors and the stamp used.  I started my base card using Naturals White card stock, and as my layers I used Midnight Muse and Bashful Blue. I also used the Decorative Label punch again, but also

I also added the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, but used Midnight Muse for this card.  I also added a little sparkel on this card using Dazzling Details on the big flower in the upper right-hand corner.

Here is a close up photo to see it a little better.

  1. Thank you Michelle. Don’t be envious..I got them uploaded just in time, if that tells you how late I was up. LOL I didn’t really like my first card that well, but thought I would share it.

Wow! I’m so impressed you had time to do TWO cards! And yes, a little envious, too. 😉 These are great!
