Good Saturday Morning! I think Saturdays are my favorite day of the week. Even though I have my regulard weekend laundry and cleaning, I usually get some time to spend in my stamping room. I hope you are enjoying your weekend and that you have some time to spend creating and stamping. Today is the UDI Diva Sketch Challenge 210. Here is today's sketch challenge. What do you think about this sketch?…I invite you to play along, email me at email@example.com with your creation and I will feature it on Jill's Stamping Corner.
As soon as I saw this sketch I knew that I would be making a Christmas card. Here is my Snowflake Christmas card. This was actually a quick and easy card to
make, and this time of year "Quick and Easy" is great.
You will notice there is not a greeting on the front of my card, it is because I have not decided if or what holiday greeting I want to put or just leave it like this. I am glad that I have a little time to make that decision. If I do put a greeting, I will probably emboss it using Silver Embossing Powder.
The base card is Elegant Eggplant card stock with a strip of Real Red card stock. I took the 1-3/8" Square punch to put a notch in the Real Red card stock. I used SNAIL Adhesive to glue the Real Read to the Elegant Eggplant. The Snowflakes were make by using the Snow Flurry Bigz Die from the Holiday Catalog and the Big Shot with Silver Glimmer Paper. I used Glue Dots to adhear the snowflakes to the card. Can you see how quickly you could create a card like this?
