Tomorrow is my August Paper Crafting Class for the ladies at Westminster Oaks Retirement Community in Tallahassee, Florida. Here is one of the cards that we will be creating tomorrow. The ladies have told me that they always need birthday cards.
I really enjoy teaching these paper crafting classes to the ladies, they are so fun to work with on projects. I also don't have to worry if we use current products or retired products. It is helping me use up the retired Stampin' Up! supplies that I have on hand. This card is a combination of both current and retired items.
Happy Birthday Card
Stamp Set: Big Flowers (retired), On Your Birthday (retired)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: SNAIL Adhesive, Bone Folder, Stampin' Trimmer, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Flower Brads (retired), Crop-a-dial (retired)
These ladies are so talented, and love their finished projects. I really am excited that I come to the class with a sample of the card that we are going to work on, but by the time we get finished with the project, each of them have put their own creative twist. That is one of the things that I love most about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator…opening the door of creative to others.
Do you live in a retirement community or have a group of friends that you think would enjoy getting together and creating a card like this? Lets set a date for your card making class. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org today so we can get you on the calendar.
